Accessing My Accounts While Deseret First Is Closed (Frequently Asked Questions)

How long will the credit union be closed to complete the upgrade?

The final upgrades will occur over Veteran’s Day weekend beginning Friday, November 9, at 7pm, and ending Tuesday, November 13, at 9am. During this time all branches and our call center will be closed. Account access using online account, phone teller or service center branch locations will not be possible.

Be sure to handle any transactions that you would normally do over the weekend before 7pm on Friday, November 9. We will also extend our branch and call center hours to 7pm on Friday, November 9, in order to accommodate additional member transactions prior to the weekend closure.

During the time the credit union is closed, how can I access my funds?

You can still write checks, use your debit and credit cards, as well as ATMs while the credit union is closed.

Will I be able to use checks at merchants that use the immediate electronic clearing (like Walmart, Auto Zone, etc.)?

Yes. Checks, debit cards and credit cards will work as usual, even with merchants who use immediate electronic check clearing.

When the credit union is closed will I be able to access my account on the internet?

No. Account access using online account, phone teller or service center branch locations will not be possible.
